Cleaner/Facility Manager

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to maintain a clean and welcoming environment at our new personal training studio. This role is essential to ensuring the studio is always presentable for our clients and staff, so the ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and works well independently.

The facility includes roughly 1200 sq/ft of training floor, 7 offices, and 2 bathrooms. Depending on the foot traffic in the new studio it will need to be cleaned 2-4 times per week, during off-peak hours.

The specific cleaning schedule will be based on the person, but these are the time windows the work will need to be done.

Weekdays: before 5am, 1 pm – 4 pm, after 8 pm

Weekends: before 7am, After 4 pm

Key Responsibilities

Arrive on time as scheduled.

Meet all service standards (see staff playbook) and perform all duties in time allowed.

Follow the cleaning checklist for the correct order of tasks.

Communicate with GM if extra hours are needed to meet service standards, or note any areas of concern that might require extra attention by other staff members outside cleaner’s hours

Ensure supplies and equipment are always put away in an orderly manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial or fitness environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Good communication skills to report any issues or requests to management.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift cleaning supplies and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with equipment maintenance (rowers, airbikes, barbells, rigs/racks, etc.)
• Knowledge of Cintas cleaning products and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

• $15/hr to start
